Europe has been experiencing for several years an increase in migration flows. Project partner countries receive a large number of foreigners who sometimes have little or no command of the host country language. Yet, knowledge of the national language is one of the most important criteria to search employment. A poor (or lack of) knowledge of the national language is an obstacle to finding employment.
The project’s objective is to create an online training platform to support migrants’ integration in their host country and foster their employability. The platform will contain interactive exercises to improve their language skills as well as their knowledge of the culture, society and job market of their adopted country. The exercises will be available at A1, A2 and B1 levels.
Migrants, regardless of their status and origin, with a basic command of the host country languages (English, French, German, Italian or Spanish)
Organisations active in migrant training and integration will support the project partners in all five countries in the development and testing of the training platform. This way, the platform and the exercises will fit the needs and expectations of their target audience. It also means that organisations dedicated to migrant training will have access to a free tailor-made training tool.
